While there are some who feel that the name UMelt is a bit too on the nose, that group of individuals does not include the members of a440 who recently rechristened themselves The Unbelievable Meltdown. This also hasnt bothered musicians in Strangefolk and Umphrey’s McGee who have sat in with the group as of late. At any rate the band will affirm its moniker selection with the release of its first album under the new name on Saturday. UMELT will be available Valentine’s in Albany NY and at forthcoming dates over the course of the summer.
