The latest incarnation of the ‘Living Dream Experience’ took place this past weekend at Hornings Hideout in North Plains, OR. The String Cheese Incident participated in eight sets over the course of the weekend including a collaborative theatrical display with costumed audience participants (Living Dream Alchemists) on Saturday night. Thereafter Tye North conducted a jam, much as he does with the Everyone Orchestra, which also featured the members of Sound Tribe Sector 9, Jamie Janover, Scott Law and Aaron Holstein. SCI welcomed a number of guest players over the three days with Keller Williams sitting in for much of the second set on Friday (including Franklin’s Tower, Alligator Alley and Breathe), Michael Franti adding a rap to the close of Best Feeling on Sunday and Xavier Rudd contributing didgeridoo later that night as well.
