Admidst rumors regarding the cancellation of next weekend’s Adirondack Music Festival, Bill Martin, the owner of the site where the event will take place, has confirmed that there will be a festival. However, many announced artists will not perform, including the Derek Trucks Band, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, ekoostik hookah and Addison Groove Project. Martin comments, ‘I am disappointed to tell you several of the bands that have been listed on our website will not be playing this years festival because the promoter, Jason Flynn has absconded with much of the bands deposit money. The show will go on, we will have 15 or 20 bands, and it’ll still be a great time! An accurate line up will be posted as soon as we have confirmed which bands are playing…please check our website for further details.’ Some artists who will perform include Hypnotic Clambake, Bomb Squad, Mountain Mojo Authority and Oshe. Information regarding refunds and ticket exchanges will be available at www.amf2004.com.
