Confirming numerous rumors, HeadCount has added Mike Gordon, Michael Kang and the Benevento/Russo Duo to its June 7th benefit at New Yorks BB Kings Blues Club. Previously announced performers include moe. and the HeadCount All-stars, a unique union of the Disco Biscuits Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner and moe.s Al Schnier and Vinnie Amico.
Brownstein, along with sports media reporter Andy Bernstein, founded HeadCount last year in an effort to increase voter registration in the live music community. Gordon last collaborated with Marco Benevento and Joe Russo this January, making a surprise appearance with the Duo during their residency at New Yorks Tribeca Rock Club.
