Following last week’s departure of New Monsoon bassist Heath Carlisle, the band will perform its upcoming gigs with a series of guest players. On December 30 and 31 at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver the band will be joined by Arne Livingston (Living Daylights, Steve Kimock Band). Although the Steve Kimock Band will be in the area gigging on both evenings at the Gothic Theatre, Livingston will performing exclusively with New Monsoon as the SKB will have Alphonso Johnson on bass. New Monsoon will continue to draw in guest bassists during its January tour as it works towards filing the slot.
