Medeski Martin & Wood drummer Billy Martin will release a new solo record on November 4. Titled For No One in Particular, the disc features drummer Grant Calvin Weston and DJ Logic. The album was recorded live at New Yorks Tonic on May 21 of this year. A release party is planned at the venue later this fall, although a specific date has not yet been set.
Meanwhile, MMW returns to the road late next month for a show at Toads Place in New Haven, CT on October 30 and at New Yorks Beacon Theatre on Halloween.
