Saxophonist Sam Kininger (Soulive, Lettuce) will release his new self-titled album in September. The disc features a talented roster of musicians including Fred Wesley, Eric Krasno, Neal Evans, Adam Deitch, Marco Benevento and Joe Russo. The Sam Kininger Band will tour in support of the disc in the coming weeks, making stops in Vermont, Rhode Island, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. A specific release date for the CD has not yet been set.
