Mountain of Venus welcomed special guests to the stage last night at Harpers Ferry in Allston, MA. At the beginning of the second set, guitarist Johnny Trama (Peter Prince & the Trauma Unit) and keyboardist Amy Bowles (Mad Dog Trio, The Box Social) joined in for a cover of Delbert McClintons Shot from the Saddle, which segued into a vocal jam featuring Skip Jennings (Soulwork, The Box Social) and MOVs Tanya Shylock. Trama and Bowles remained for Mountain of Venus’ Higher Ground and a cover of Eric Claptons The Core. The Box Social opened the show.
