Bob Dylan took the stage with The Dead Tuesday at St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, FL. Midway through the first set, Dylan emerged and added piano and vocals to Friend Of The Devil, Gotta Serve Somebody and Like A Rolling Stone. The night before at the Office Depot Center in Sunrise Florida, Dylan sat in for Alabama Getaway, Its All Over Now Baby Blue and West L.A. Fadeaway. Prior to that, the last time he performed with the Grateful Dead was at Madison Square Garden on 10/17/94, when he joined in for Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 (they also released the collaborative album Dylan and The Dead in 1989).
The tour continues tonight at Hi Fi Buys Amphitheater in Atlanta, GA. For the full schedule, visit www.dead.net.
