Leftover Salmon has announced that it will not be hosting SalmonFest this year – citing a struggling economy and the influx of summer festivals – but the event will be held next summer in a new location. As much as we love Lesterville and we know how much many of you loved it too, there were several issues that came up last year, the band said in a statement. Some of the issues had to do with parking, location, and the local authorities. We know this may be disappointing to many of you – it is for us too. On the other hand, it leaves that much more anticipation for next year.
Leftover plays this Friday at the Greenman Festival in Duluth, MN. Full details can be found at www.leftoversalmon.com.
