The Flaming Lips have been confirmed to perform at the 4th Annual moe.down, which is slated for Labor Day Weekend, August 29 31 in Turin, NY. I couldn’t be more excited about them playing moe.down, says moe. guitarist Al Schnier. The Lips live show is such a celebration of life and music it fits in so well with the vibe of our festival. They also happen to be one of my favorite bands of all time. Other acts include Rusted Root, Al & the Transamericans and OM Trio. Look for more bands to be announced soon.
In other news, moe. will open a few dates for Dave Matthews Band this summer. The schedule includes June 17 18 in Columbus, OH, June 20 in Daien, NY and June 21 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
