Robert Randolph & the Family Band picked up a WC Hand Blues Award last night in Memphis, TN. The group won in the category of Best New Artist for its album, Live at the Wetlands, beating out Precious Bryant, Richard Johnston, Nick Moss & the Flip Tops and Ana Popovic. In addition to receiving the award, the band performed Pressing My Way and I Dont Know What You Come To Do off the live CD. Randolph was also nominated in the category of Instrumentalist of the Year.
