Brothers Past have released their initial winter schedule. The band is touring in support of its most recent studio effort, Wonderful Day, a dark concept album about insomnia. It’s about the uncertainties of what happens when you can’t sleep and your mind starts racing,’ says guitarist Tom Hamilton. ‘The album is saying that tomorrow is always different. It’s something for the listener to relate to — to be able to say, ‘I’ve felt like that, and this guy is OK.’‘ In addition to a Saturday night Residency at New Yorks Knitting Factory this month, the quartet will also travel south along the East Coast for dates in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Georgia. The group will also play a hometown show on January 24 at The North Star in Philadelphia.
