Members of Karl Densons Tiny Universe sat in with Widespread Panic last night at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, NC. Denson (saxophone) and Chris Littlefield (trumpet) performed on Get In Get Out and Pusherman midway through the second set. Zak Najor and Mike Dillon then added percussion to an extended drum solo. KDTU opened the show.
Karl has joined Widespread a handful of times over the last couple of years. Denson last collaborated with the band on October 28, 2001 at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans. Along with Col. Bruce Hampton, he played on Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys -> Use Me.
