Crackers David Lowery (guitar) and Railroad Earths Tim Carbone (violin) took the stage with moe. last night at the NorVa Theater in Norfolk, VA. Both sat in on O Death, which most recently appeared on the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack, and Lowery remained for Victoria. He then returned during the encore for a version of Crackers Low.
Lowery has performed with moe. on several occasions, including moe.down 2001 when Cracker also appeared on the bill. In addition, Crackers Johnny Hickman is a member of All Thumbs Trio, which features moe.s Chuck Garvey and Gibb Droll. The trio will play two shows at the end of the month opening for Leftover Salmon: November 29 at B.B. Kings in New York City and November 30 at the TLA in Philadelphia.
