Special guests took the stage with Will Bernard and Otherbug last night at Club Metronome in Burlington, VT. Otherbug, which is the East Coast incarnation of Bernards San Francisco-based Motherbug, includes drummer Joe Russo (Fat Mama, Electron), bassist Justin Wallace (formerly of ulu) and keyboardist Marco Benevento (the Jazz Farmers). Last nights show featured guests appearances by saxophonist Peter Apfelbaum, trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick and trombonist Andy Moroz, who are all members of Trey Anastasios band. Apfelbaum sat in for most of the show, while Hartswick and Moroz took the stage for some improvisation instrumentals in the second set.
