Following their performance at the State Theatre in Kalamazoo, MI, members of moe. joined Super Strain on stage at nearby Papa Petes Banquet Hall. Percussionist Jim Loughlin played keyboards for In the Spot at the beginning of the second set. He then remained as guitarist Chuck Garvey emerged for Shadow of the Sea and Monter Rae. Al Schnier added guitar to the last song of the set, Alien.
