Govt Mule has announced the second leg of the Its Deep Too Fall Tour. The itinerary includes west coast dates in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona and Texas. The band will play two late night shows at the Orpheum in New Orleans on Halloween and November 1. Look for additional November dates to be added in the Northeast, South and Southeast.
All of the guests that appear on Volume 2 of The Deep End have been invited to join the band on stage during the tour. Chris Wood (Medeski, Martin & Wood) will join the group along with Mike Gordon (Phish) on September 19 at the Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston, NY. Other confirmed guest bass players for the tour include Dave Schools (9/4 9/19), George Porter Jr. (10/9 10/30), Greg Rzab (10/9 11/1) and Jason Newsted (10/9 10/12). Keyboardist Danny Louis will tour with the group through November 1.
