Guitarist Mike Keneally (Frank Zappa, Steve Vai) will make a guest appearance on Uncle Sammys first studio album. Keneally is producing the disc, which does not yet have a release date. Mike has been a great inspiration to us during the recording, says bassist Brian OConnell. His insight and experience shed a lot of light on the recording process and our music. He makes us feel at ease with his total lack of ego-tripping and general good nature vibe. We look forward to further collaborations with him and to getting the album finished and released’. The album features some new material as well as older songs with new arrangements.
Uncle Sammy plays tonight at the Brewhouse in South Norwalk, CT. For details, visit www.unclesammy.com.
