Uncle Sammy has announced plans to release its first studio album. The group will head into the studio later this month and begin working with producer Mike Keneally (Frank Zappa, Steve Vai). We are thrilled to be finally recording a studio disc, says basssist Brian OConnell. It’s something that we and our fans alike have been wishing for for years. It’s also an honor to be working with the great Mike Keneally, a true musical genius. A release date has not yet been set.
The band plays next on August 25 at SUNY Purchase in Purchase, NY. For the complete itinerary, visit the groups official website.
