Melvin Sparks will celebrate the release of his new album, What You Hear Is What You Get, tomorrow night at Tribeca Blues in New York City. Sparks touring band, which also appears on the CD, includes Joe Hrbek, George Papageorge, Derek Layes and Carter McLean. The disc also features guest appearances by saxophonist Topaz and organist Reuben Wilson. Topaz will perform with Sparks tomorrow night as well.
