Bernie Worrell took the stage with OM Trio last night at Stella Blue in Asheville, NC. Worrell joined the band midway through the set for Old Guard -> Cosmic Slop -> Make My Funk the P-Funk. Bernie Worrell is a funk legend, so getting the chance to play songs that he wrote, with him, was quite a thrill,’ says keyboardist Brian Felix. ‘It was definitely one of many highlights on this current tour.’
OM Trio plays tonight at Percivals Isle in Lynchburg, VA. For more dates, visit the band’s website.
