Buckwheat Zydeco received a National Sports Emmy Tuesday night at the Marriot Marquis in New York City. Zydeco, along with Brian Keane, won the award in the category of Outstanding Music Composition for Pistol Pete: The Life and Times of Pete Maravich (CBS). Buckwheat has also been nominated for four Grammy Awards in the past.
