New Yorks Wetlands Preserve has announced the line-up for Saturdays Power Jam, which is the last scheduled show at the legendary venue. Confirmed musicians include Eric Krasno and Neal Evans of Soulive, David Fuicyznski, Justin Wallace and David Hoffman of ulu, Jonathan Goldberger and Joe Russo of Fat Mama, Scott Metzger and Andrew Southern of Rana, Topaz, Chris Rael of Church of Betty, Matt Kohut of f-hole, Pauly Ethnic of Conscious Underground and Dean Bowman of Soul Trilogy. Many other surprise special guests are expected to perform as well. There is no cover charge, although donations will be accepted at the door. All proceeds will benefit relief efforts in New York City.
Wetlands will be open to the public tonight for the first time since September 10. The club will be hosting a party featuring archival tapes recorded at the venue over the last 12 years.
