Galactic welcomed multiple guests during its performance at Walther’s Grassroots
Music & Arts on Saturday. North Mississippi Allstar/The Word guitarist Luther Dickinson took the stage with the band during ‘Groove Holmes.’ Later the All Mighty Senators horn section (Frank Mitchell on sax and Dave Finnell on trumpet) joined the band for a cover of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band’s ‘Charlie Dozen.’ More than 3,000 people attended the event at Oregon Ridge Park in Cockeysville, Md. despite a heavy flow of rain.
Galactic next performs on August 22 at Grenada inn Lawrence. KS.
