The initial line-up for this years Berkfest All-star jam has been announced and includes John Medeski, Bob Moses and Stan Stricklan. The festival will be held August 10 12 at Butternut Basin Ski Area in Great Barrington, MA. Fred Wesley has also been confirmed to perform with Mike Clarks Prescription Renewal, which features George Porter Jr., Skerik and Robert Walter. Other acts on the bill include moe., Les Claypools Frog Brigade, Strangefolk, Soulive, Galactic, Spearhead, The Word (featuring John Medeski, Robert Randolph and the North Mississippi Allstars), Steve Kimock Band, Percy Hill, Leftover Salmon, Robert Walters 20th Congress, Sound Tribe Sector 9, John Browns Body, Jiggle, Yonder Mountain String Band, Olu Dara, The Slip, Robert Randolph (solo), Miracle Orchestra, Addison Groove Project, Uncle Sammy, Psychedelic Breakfast, Mori Stylez, Hanuman, Jackstraw, Topaz, Railroad Earth, Wax Poetic, Shannon Moore and Dan Rockett.
