John Medeski will join Trey Anastasio and his band for three shows this summer. Medeski (Medeski, Martin & Wood) will perform July 20 at Riverport Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO, July 21 at Alpine Valley in East Troy, WI, and July 22 at Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, IN. Due to a scheduling conflict, tour keyboardist Ray Paczkowski (Viperhouse) is unavailable for the July 21 show. However, both Paczkowski and Medeski will play keyboards for the July 20 and July 22 concerts. Anastasio’s backing band also includes Russ Lawton (drums), Tony Markellis (bass), Dave Grippo (saxophone), Russell Remington (saxophone), Andy Moroz (saxophone) and Jennifer Hartswick (trumpet).
