Without a doubt, one of Green Apple’s most highly anticipated shows is Umphrey's McGee's April 21st performance at cradle-size punk womb, CBGBs. Despite having worked its way through New York's maze of downtown clubs, this show will mark Umphrey's McGee's first appearance at CBGBs and, sadly, its last—-the famed music club is scheduled to close its doors on Halloween. Umphrey's McGee's first known Manhattan appearance also took place on October 20, 1999 in the lounge of another famed, but doomed venue, the Wetlands. Also on that bill that evening (upstairs): Big Ass Truck, Spywagon and Smit-Haus.
