Gov’t Mule will return to New York’s Beacon Theatre for a two-night New Year’s Eve run later this month, and the band has announced the guests that will be joining the celebration.

While December 30 is billed as An Evening with Gov’t Mule, the group will welcome a number of friends on New Year’s Eve proper, including guitarist Jackie Greene, drummer Shawn Pelton, The Chronic Horns and The Better Half Singers, which features Machan Taylor and Mini Carlsson, who are married to Mule’s Danny Louis and Jorgen Carlsson, respectively. The December 31 show is billed as The Rocking Mule Revue and is expected to include a number of covers, as has become the band’s New Year’s Eve tradition in past years.
