Maryland rock outfit, Of a Revolution, a.k.a. O.A.R., has announced the release of what frontman Marc Roberge calls the band’s “most intense live release yet.” The 4-disc live album entitled Rain or Shine features 37 tracks recorded over two nights in June 2009 at Chicago’s Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island. Marking the band’s first live album recorded at an outdoor venue, Rain or Shine includes two previously unreleased tracks (“Tonight” and “Rhythm of Your Shoes,”) as well as electric and acoustic versions of “Shattered,” “Crazy Game of Poker” and a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Fool in the Rain” with guest Robert Randolph. Rain or Shine will be released by Everfine/Atlantic on January 12.
