Croton-on-Hudson, NY’s Festival: Great Hudson River Revival has made its initial artist announcement. Peter Seeger initiated Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc. as a 501©3 tax exempt nonprofit, member-supported corporation back in 1966 with a mission “to preserve and protect the Hudson River.” This year’s event will return to Croton Point Park on June 19 and 20. In addition to Seeger, the roster of performers also includes: Keller Williams, Joan Osborne, Mike Doughty, Steve Earle, Railroad Earth, Buckwheat Zydeco, The Subdudes, Dan Bern, Toshi Reagon, The Lee Boys, Felice Brothers, Donna The Buffalo, David Bromberg Quartet, Jonatha Brooke and Ryan Montbleau Band. Tickets are now on sale, with a weekend pass, only $60 through May 16.
