In the fall of 1989, following the release of what would be the Grateful Dead’s final studio album, Built To Last Jerry Garcia sat down with writer Steve Peters. The resulting conversation ran in the December issue of the magazine, under the title, “Built To Last: An Exclusive Interview with Jerry Garcia. With the current Furthur tour now underway that piece :has just been posted to Relix.com. In it, Garcia talks about the new album, the pressures on the band, his relationship with Deadheads and much more.
