Santiago, Chile will host the first South American version of Lollapalooza in April. Lollapalooza Chile will take place on April 2 and 3, with festival founder Perry Farrell bringing Jane’s Addiction to the event. That group will joined by The Killers, Kanye West, Fatboy Slim, The Flaming Lips, Ben Harper, The National, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Deftones, Cypress Hill, Sublime With Rome, 311, Cold War Kids, Cat Power and numerous other artists, including a range of local performers. Looking ahead, Farrell also indicates that a “cultural exchange” will occur with numerous Chilean artists appearing at the North American Lollapalooza in Chicago this summer.
