Once again Wilco will curate the Solid Sound Festival. The event which will take place at North Adams, MA’s MASS MoCa from June 24-26 features headlining sets from Wilco on both Friday and Saturday evenings. A number of additional acts have just been added to the event, with the Levon Helm Band, Thurston Moore, Syl Johnson & the Sweet Divines, Here We Go Magic, Dave Douglas & Brass Ecstasy, Pillow Wand (Nels Cline/Thurston Moore duo), Handsome Family, Liam Finn, Sic Alps, JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound, Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, Glenn Kotche, Pronto and the Autumn Defense all confirmed. This year’s Solid Sound will offer a comedy cabaret hosted by John Hodgman, with appearances by Wyatt Cenac, Eugene Mirman & Morgan Murphy and the Story Pirates. Tickets are now sale for the festival, which will offer camping this year.
