Trigger Hippy is the new band featuring singer/guitarist Jackie Greene, singer Joan Osborne, former Black Crowes guitarist Audley Freed, Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman and bassist Nick Govrik. The musicians will regroup after Thanksgiving for a pair of shows in California. On November 28, Trigger Hippy will perform at Petaluma’s McNears Mystic Theatre and on November 29 the band will appear at Sacramento’s Ace of Spades. Since Greene will celebrate his birthday at San Francisco, CA’s The Fillmore on November 25 and 26 there is a chance some additional members of Trigger Hippy may also make their way to California a few days early.
