On March 6, New York City’s famed Apollo Theater will host a special event that celebrates the centennial of legendary bluesman Robert Johnson. A variety of artists will perform, with the initial roster set to include: The Roots, Taj Mahal, Keb Mo, Bettye Levette, Todd Rundgren, Shamika Copeland and Sam Moore. Additional performers will be confirmed over the coming weeks. Tickets are now on sale, with net proceeds to help provide funding for the Blues Hall of Fame in Memphis, TN.
