Members of Widespread Panic, Drive-BY Truckers, Aquarium Rescue Unit and more will perform with veteran organ player Ike Stubblefield next month. The Ike Stubblefield and Friends show will take place at Athens, GA’s Georgia Theatre on May 18. Stubblefield’s core band throughout the night will feature ARU drummer Jeff Sipe, ARU/Derek Trucks Band percussionist Count M’Butu and guitarist June Yamagishi. In addition, both Widespread Panic percussionist Sunny Ortiz and Drive-By Truckers keyboardist Jay Gonzalez will sit in during the show. Ralph Rodenberry & Dianne Durrett will open the night.
