Blues Traveler’s John Popper will sit in with Bill Evans’ Soulgrassduring their residency at New York City’s Blue Note Jazz Club. As previously reported, Soulgrass will headline the legendary venue from February 26-March 3.

Throughout the run, Soulgrass band will feature John Medeski, Etienne Mbappe, Mitch Stein, Ryan Cavanaugh and Josh Dion. Popper will sit in with the group from February 26-28, while Soulive/Lettuce’s Eric Krasno will join the group on February 26 and 27. Umphrey’s McGee’s Jake Cinninger will also share the stage with them February 28 and March 1. Tickets to the shows are $20 for the bar and $35 for a table and can be purchased here. More special guests will be announced in the future.

Bill Evans will also play with Kung Fu during their 2nd annual Toys for Tots Holiday Spectacular at Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT on December 22.
