On April 2, 2011, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals nodded to fellow Vermont band Phish by busting into their “Tweezer” while performing at Colchester, VT’s St. Michael’s College (the site of a historic Phish show). Potter—an avid Phish fan who has performed with most of the group’s members—has nodded to “Tweezer” a few times since that show, including the Nocturnals’ November 16, 2012 stop at New York’s Beacon Theatre. On Sunday night, Potter and the Nocturnals teased “Tweezer” once again at Kalamazoo, MI’s Kalamazoo State Theater. The band decided to bust into “Tweezer” after a fan requested the song on Twitter via her #GPNSetlists. A video of Sunday’s performance is now available on Relix.com.
