Beach Boys co-founder Al Jardine will perform at New York’s Run Museum this Friday, February 7. Billed as a Transcendental Music performance, the show will benefit The Rubin Museum of Art and the David Lynch Foundation. Jardine will play a rare acoustic concert with former member Blondie Chaplin (who will sing “Sail On Sailor”), Spacehog’s Royston Langdon, Dusty Wright, The Band collaborator Professor Louie and others. The Bongos’ frontman Richard Barone will also offer a tribute to Pete Seeger. Chaplin and Jardine recently toured together as part of former Beach Boys partner Brian Wilson’s band.
