The Lone Bellow’s set at Eaux Claires Music Festival featured a few special guests as Blind Boys of Alabama joined the band to harmonize with them on the delicate new track from their latest, Then Came the Morning, “Watch Over Us.” The band took to Instagram to share a brief clip of rehearsal footage prior to the performance.
Also during The Lone Bellow’s set, The National’s Aaron Dessner joined them on guitar. Dessner produced the band’s last effort at Dreamland Studios in Woodstock, NY.
The Brooklyn folk rockers went from Eau Claire, WI to Louisville, KY where they performed at Forecastle Festival. They will also play Newport Folk Festival later in the week.
Did you guys just catch @aaron_dessner jumping in with @TheLoneBellow?
