The Sway Machinery, Nikihl P. Yerawadekar & Low Mentality, Todd Kramer and other acts will come together for 3rd Generation Recordings’ first-annual holiday party. The festive evening will take place at Brooklyn, NY’s Knitting Factory on December 16. People’s Champs will also perform and use the evening to celebrate the release of their album American Dreamers. Jon Ladeau, Bar Lev and DJ CB1DR will also perform, with music running from 7pm-1am. Founded in 2010 by jazz/funk/soul musician Colin Brown, 3rd Generation Recordings is an independent label that’s emphasized world-music-leaning records.
