John Fogerty and Steve Winwood, two classic rock legends, are currently on the road together as part of a joint shed tour. Both acts have been offering career-spanning sets each night and, on Wednesday evening at Charloette, NC’s Truliant Amphitheater, the two acts shared the stage on a famed cover.

Winwood played first and during Fogerty’s show-closing performance, he brought Winwood back to the stage to join him for Wilson Pickett’s revered “In the Midnight Hour.” According to Setlist.fm, Fogerty has not played the tune since a March 3, 2017, show at Las Vegas’ Encore Theater. The Creedence Clearwater Revival singer/guitarist has riffed on the song during several jam sessions and tribute shows over the year, but the number has never been part of his regular solo concert setlists.

Winwood and Fogerty will perform together at St. Augustine, FL’s St. Augustine Amphitheatre this evening.
