This weekend, familiar faces from the jam cover scene will band together to form REPRISE, a Phish tribute outfit unlike any before. Led by Cal Kehoe, frontman for Pink Talking Fish, the quartet will take the stage at Burlington, Vt.’s legendary Nectar’s on March 1 and 2 to present two classic Phish shows in their entirety, aiming to reprise the Phish experience in an intimate setting.

Beyond Kehoe, REPRISE comprises Twiddle’s Adrian Tramontano on the drums, multi-instrumentalist Chris DeAngelis–Tramontano’s bandmate from Kung Fu and The Breakfast–on the bass, and Scott Chasolen of Pink Floyd cover group The Machine, of which DeAngelis is also a member, behind the boards.

For its first gig out, REPRISE will perform Phish’s show from March 13, 1989, presented on the hallowed Nectar’s stage in the venue’s early days. Then, on Saturday, the band will revisit Phish’s Sugarbush engagement from July 16, 1994. While news of these returns will come as a thrill to early phans, this will be the only time that the group will reveal the dates of the shows they will cover before taking the stage.

Tickets for REPRISE’s debut weekend at Nectar’s are available now.
