Derek Trucks Band drummer Yonrico Scott is recovering after undergoing heart surgery yesterday. The procedure went well and Scott is expected to make a full recovery. In the meantime, the Derek Trucks Band plans to play all dates of its fall tour, which kicks off this Friday at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans. The group will be joined by various guest drummers.
