Pork Tornado has confirmed its fall tour schedule and has also announced plans to release its first album. The group features Phish drummer Jon Fishman, guitarist Dan Archer, bassist Aaron Hersey, keyboardist Phil Abair and saxophonist Joe Moore. The self-titled debut album will be released on Rykodisc on October 1. The national tour will hit mostly clubs and kicks off October 9 at Pearl Street in Northampton, MA. The itinerary also includes dates in Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia and Washington DC. The Seth Yacovone Band will open the first eight dates of the tour.
