Blues Travelers John Popper jammed with Particle during its opening set Saturday at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco. He emerged for the encore, Pipedream. Particle also opened for Blues Traveler Friday at The House of Blues in Anaheim, when Steve Molitz (keyboards) and Charlie Hitchcock (guitar) joined the band for its encore, The Path.
In other news, Particle has announced two late night shows in Las Vegas on February 15 and 16. The group will play at the Blue Note, following Phishs concerts at the Thomas and Mack Center. Particle also plans to record its first studio album in early 2003.
