The line-up for the 2003 Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance has been released. The festival is slated for the weekend of April 10 13 at Shakori Hills Farm, a picturesque site in Silk Hope, NC. The four-day event will feature 40 bands on four stages. Confirmed artists include Donna The Buffalo, Del McCoury Band, Toots and the Maytals, Acoustic Syndicate, Man Alive, Old Crow Medicine Show, Preston Frank, Keith Frank, Thomas Mapfumo, Keith Secola & Wildband of Indians, Jim Lauderdale, The Campbell Brothers, Jo Serrapere, John Specker and Jennie Sterns. More bands will be added in the weeks ahead. Early Bird tickets are on sale now.
