Relix has announced plans for another Syn Party, which will take place May 31 at Amazura in Queens, NY. Laverneus Cool will headline the night and features guitarist Al Schnier (moe.), bassist Marc Brownstein (The Disco Biscuits), keyboardist Jamie Shields (The New Deal) and drummer Joe Russo (formerly of Fat Mama). Other performers include Logics Lair (featuring DJ Logic) the Philadelphia SYN-phony Orchestra (members of Brothers Past, The Ally and Lotus) and DJ Motion Potion. Syn is not a concert, says Jacey Anderson, co-producer of the event. Instead, all these performers will be laying down a soundscape for a communal dance experience.
Tickets are on sale now.
