Widespread Panic wrapped up two shows in New Orleans over the weekend: Friday night at the Municipal Auditorium and on Saturday on the fairgrounds at the Jazz and Heritage Festival. During the Friday gig the band welcomed Luther Dickinson to the stage for the three songs that closed the first set: ‘Doreatha,’ ‘Fixin’ To Die,’ and ‘Makes Sense To Me.’ Later in the shows the band also debuted its takes on ‘Interstellar Overdrive’ and ‘Travelin’ Man.’ on Saturday during its Jazz Fest set the Dirty Dozen Brass Band joined the group for ‘Fishwater.’
Widespread Panic will play at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, MO on Tuesday and Wednesday.
